STEVENS PASS UPDATE (3/22/24)

Hello everyone,

We want to extend a big thanks to all who joined us over the past weekend and earlier this week for some sunshine and spring skiing as we marked the final week of night operations for the season. I also want to thank our night operational teams; without their dedication and commitment we would not have had such a successful night operation. For those of you who enjoy night skiing or riding, thank you for such a fun season!

This week we hosted 18 dogs and handlers from all over the country for the Stevens Pass Avalanche Dog School. Led by our Patrol Director, Angela, this program is designed for avalanche professionals with a dog to train in an organized avalanche safety program, and it was a joy having them at Stevens Pass.

As we head into this weekend, temps are forecasted to drop a little with the possibility of some snow on Saturday and Sunday. The grooming team is closely monitoring the snowpack and will continue to provide an excellent product given the current conditions.

And if you’re looking for new gear, we are also welcoming back Sturtevant’s for the Spring Fling Demo event this Saturday. For more details and registration, please visit the events page on our website. We look forward to seeing you!

Thanks,

Vince
