STEVENS PASS UPDATE (2/24/24)

Hello everyone,

As I’m sure you’ve seen in the forecast, winter is making a comeback. We could see 6” of snow later today and into the night, and a stronger system is expected to move in during the day on Sunday with up to 20” of snow in the short-term forecast. There’s also the potential for some wind on Sunday, so we’ll be paying close attention to how this storm develops. We’re eagerly anticipating some great powder days ahead.

Given that it’s been a while since we’ve talked about snow, just a friendly reminder, please check WSDOT for updates updated road conditions before you head out on your drive and be prepared for potential delays on HWY 2. We also expect a lot of people to be excited about winter making a return to the mountains, so carpool if you can, and plan to arrive before 9am for the best parking availability. We will do our best to communicate any known impacts to operations or potential delays due to avalanche control and/or high winds.

Everyone here is excited about the forecast and we are all keeping our fingers crossed to see what actually falls over the next several days. We’re fully prepared and can’t wait to take some laps with many of you soon.

Thanks,

Vince
