NW Mountain Challenge Recap + Bike Park Update (8/1/25)

Hello Everyone!

Last weekend was fantastic as the NW Mountain Challenge archery event attracted a great crowd of competitors. It was exciting to see 3D targets cleverly hidden around the mountain. Tough competitors navigated up Double Diamond and through the terrain of 7th Heaven. The base area was lively with vendors, practice courses, and targets, not to mention all the kids and dogs having a great time. We love this group of passionate outdoor enthusiasts and look forward to welcoming them back next year.

The bike park was also bustling. Yes, the archers and mountain bikers coexisted peacefully and symbiotically – it was a fantastic sight. My highlight from the weekend was riding some laps in the bike park with local athletes, Jill Kintner and Tilly Melton. We checked out the Bike Park’s new trail developments and received valuable feedback from these professional mountain bike racers on how to improve our existing trails.

I am excited to share the new trail is NOW OPEN – freshly named, Jormungandr. This new trail has great flow with well-designed banked turns. We hope to see you this weekend to try it out.  Check out the below bird’s eye view and thanks to our awesome crew for their strong work.  Stay tuned for more exciting updates coming to the Stevens Pass Bike Park very soon!

See you on the mountain.
