Hello everyone,
Summer is in full swing, all the trails are in great shape, and it’s been great welcoming all of you back to the mountain! If you’re heading up this week, we’ve got trails and tracks by DJ Good Cat on Thursday and live music by Chris Ward in the base area on Saturday. Be sure to check the events calendar on the website for more opportunities to catch some live tunes this summer.
We’re thrilled to announce that the NW Mountain Challenge is returning to Stevens Pass from July 26-28. This exciting archery event brings together competitors who will navigate our physically demanding terrain and take aim at targets scattered around the mountain. It’s always really fun welcoming this group, and we can’t wait to see the skill and precision on display.
For those planning to join us next weekend, the bike park will operate as normal. Please note that scenic ride tickets will only be available for purchase in person at the ticket window during the event next Friday through Sunday. Additionally, all guests will be required to ride the chair back down after their scenic adventure. To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, our hiking trail and disc golf course will be closed for the event. However, the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) will remain open and will not be impacted by the closures.
And just a fun heads-up: If you happen to spot a moose, a sheep, or even a dinosaur, don’t worry—they’re likely just props for the event! It’s all part of the fun and excitement of the NW Mountain Challenge.
Whether you plan to join us this week or for the event next weekend, we look forward to seeing you all here!
Best,
Vince
