STEVENS PASS UPDATE (2/21/25)

Greetings,

It has been wonderful to have so many of you up at the mountain this week, making the most of the great mid-winter break snow conditions. While Mother Nature has been kind to us recently, we expect a shift in the weather. Snow is possible today and Saturday, and we anticipate rising temperatures and a transition to rain by Sunday. We intend to operate as much of our terrain as is safely possible, taking into account the effects of warming temperatures and variable precipitation in our snowpack. The safety of our guests and employees is always our top priority, and we may keep higher, steeper alpine terrain closed if conditions warrant. Looking further ahead, snow is likely to return Monday and Tuesday, setting up next week for more great skiing and riding.

This week, it’s been fun seeing staff and guests alike celebrating Spirit Week – whether channeling summer vibes on Beach Day, keeping it real in Denim, or rocking it out today. Tomorrow everyone is welcome to celebrate Pride and Sunday is dedicated to all things Stevens Pass with Blue Bird Spirt Day. Please note that due to the unpredictable weather, we are rescheduling the Pride Parade to take place on Sunday, April 6th. We look forward to celebrating together in the spring!

Stay tuned for real-time updates throughout the weekend via the My Epic app. Also, be sure to check road conditions with WSDOT and prepare for changing conditions on the drive up.

Safe travels, and we’ll see you on the mountain!

Ellen
