Ops Update: March 7, 2026

Good Evening,

A lot is happening at the Pass, so I want to share an update on operations for Sunday and the coming week.  First off, Tye Mill reopened today and it’s great to have this key lift back up and running for both day and night operations.  Due to the current ‘translucent precipitation’, we did not open 7th Heaven, Double Diamond, or Southern Cross today.  With more of the ‘clear stuff’ expected overnight and into the morning, we expect the opening footprint for Sunday to be Tye Mill and all base area lifts. We will keep you posted throughout the day if additional terrain opens up.

As we look to the coming week, we have a considerable amount of precipitation in the forecast paired with cooler temps.  This means snow is on the way, possibly quite a bit.  We remain in close contact with our partners at WSDOT and the PUD and recognize that storms like this can bring the potential for road or power impacts. Our teams are preparing for those possibilities and will share updates if conditions affect operations. To call this out directly – please continue to check our website and social channels for updates as you plan your trip this week.  If we have a power outage, we will do our best to let you know what to expect as soon as we can.  It can take time to estimate restoration periods. We know you want to hear from us, and we’ll reach out as soon as we can.

Please be prepared for variable road and weather conditions, ski and ride with a friend, and observe all signs and closures.  Winter isn’t over yet and we’re looking forward to seeing you.

Thanks everyone,

Ellen
