Hello everyone,
It’s hard to believe we’re winding down to the final few weeks of summer operations at Stevens Pass! And what a season it’s been—so much time, energy, and creativity have gone into making the Bike Park better than ever.
This summer, we introduced Jormungandr, a new blue flow trail that’s quickly becoming a rider favorite. We also added a new black tech connector section to Rock Crusher. Lower Lichen It and Upper Lovin’ It are now sprinkled with table-top features, and the end of this trail now links into one end of Green Trail (and honestly—it’s becoming my go-to trail)! The Piranha Bird wall ride park rides beautifully, and the skills park drop progression in the base area has been a massive hit with riders of all levels.
Last weekend, we hosted the NW Cup Finals, welcoming around 500 athletes to Stevens Pass to enjoy the trails and some fun, challenging competition. Despite smoky skies on Friday and a distant threat of thunderstorms, the event was a huge success and brought an incredible energy to the mountain. Seeing athletes, families, and spectators all come together really highlighted the strength of the Bike Park community and the dedication of everyone who makes these events possible.
Thank you to everyone who has come out to ride, race, and cheer this summer—you’ve made the park buzz with life. I’ve loved seeing the excitement on the trails and can’t wait to carry this momentum forward.
What’s next? The Bike Park will keep spinning Fridays through Mondays until closing day on Sunday, September 28th. After that, our awesome trail crew will spend the month of October working on the park and putting it to bed for winter.
It’s an incredible feeling to see fresh energy and growing support for Stevens Pass Bike Park—we can’t wait to build on this foundation in seasons to come.
All the best,
John Meriwether
