Hi everyone,
After a chilly cold spell, the weather has warmed up and snow is back at the Pass! With fresh snow on the ground and more in the forecast, conditions are looking great on the mountain. If you’re planning a visit this weekend or next week, please remember that weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Be sure to keep an eye on the forecast and road conditions before heading out, dress in layers, and make sure your gear is ready for variable mountain weather.
To celebrate mid-winter break for many area schools from February 17-21, we’re bringing back Spirit Week at the Pass with fun themes and community spirit all week long. Guests and employees alike can come together for a week of fun and community spirit. On Wednesday, channel summer vibes on Beach Day. Thursday is all about showcasing your favorite denim for Denim Day. Unleash your inner rockstar on Friday, and Saturday is a celebration of inclusivity with Pride Day. We’ll wrap up the week on Sunday with Bluebird Spirit Day to celebrate everything that makes our mountain community special. Check out the “Events” tab on our website to learn more at https://www.stevenspass.com/…/stevens-pass-events.aspx.
If you are coming up tonight, our competitive non-profit partner SPAC Freeride is hosting the second Friday Night Lights Freeski and Snowboard competition in the pocket park on the rope tow. Come out to compete or cheer on the competitors under the lights —it’s a fun event open to both competitors and non-competitors at the resort.
Also, the Nordic Center will be open this holiday Monday if you want to play in the snow or hit the trails for snowshoeing or skiing.
And as a reminder, you can reserve your parking spot in advance for this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for Lots G, A, B, and E at parkstevenspass.com.
We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with everyone.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Ellen
