Ops Update: March 15, 2026

Friends,

The past 48 hours have tested every part of our operation here at Stevens Pass. Between heavy snowfall, long power outages, highway closures, and elevated avalanche activity, it’s been a stretch of true mountain excitement. I want to extend a sincere thank you to all of you for your patience and understanding as we’ve worked through it.

I also want to express my absolute admiration for the entire Stevens Pass team — from our security team, lift operators, ski patrollers, terrain parks crew, lift maintenance, parking crew, building maintenance, and cleaning teams, food and beverage, ski school team, guest services, to our graveyard snow removal and grooming crews. These teams put in long, demanding hours to dig us out, keep us safe, and get this mountain ready for you. Their dedication is nothing short of extraordinary.

As we roll into the next wave of weather, a strong warm frontal system will bring rain to the mountains. Because of these conditions, we will be operating with a reduced footprint: Mill Valley and 7th Heaven will remain closed starting Monday morning. Safety remains our top priority.

That said — there’s still plenty of great skiing and riding to be had! Storm cycles like this are part of what makes the Pacific Northwest special. If you’re up for some classic Washington mountain adventure, we’d love to see you here. Bundle up, embrace the elements, and come enjoy the experience with us.

See you on the mountain,

John
