We’re heading into our final stretch of the season, and while it’s always a little bittersweet, it’s also one of the most fun times of the year. Sunday, April 12, will be the last day of our ski season at Stevens Pass, and we’re planning to go out on a high note.
As many of you know, closing weekend means one thing: pond skim and prep is officially underway. It takes some real work behind the scenes, so crews will be out building and dialing-in the setup over the next week or so. As a result, Kehr’s Chair will also no longer be spinning while that work is in progress.
The good news is we’ve had some fresh snow this week, and we’re focused on maintaining as much terrain as possible heading into closing weekend, including Mill Valley.
It’s been a season with its fair share of variability, and we appreciate everyone who has been with us through it all. Our last few weekends are always about bringing the community together, having some fun, and finishing strong with some of our favorite traditions! This weekend’s event lineup:
Saturday, 4/4 🐾
Join us starting at 10 am for our annual avy dog meet & greet and demo outside of the Ski & Ride School. There will be hot cocoa + coloring pages for the kids!
Sunday, 4/5 🥚🐰
Easter celebration is on. The kids’ base area egg hunt will start outside Tye Creek Lodge at 10 am, with 1,000 eggs filled with treats. An on-mountain egg hunt for all ages will also take place until all the eggs are found! Over 40 eggs will be hidden across our open terrain with prizes including Oakley goggles, Stevens Pass swag + one golden egg, which will have a Stevens Pass Premium Pass for the 2026/27 season inside! 👀
Come out and celebrate our second-to-last weekend of the season!
