The final round of racing for the NW Cup went down on September 6 – 8 and proved to be a wild ride. Seeding and practice on Saturday gave riders time to dial in their lines on loose dirt and ended with an epic tribute lap for Declan Ervin down Rock Crusher. By Sunday morning moisture had moved into the pass and left damp, tacky conditions on trail. Given the flood warning issued in the weather forecast, riders got off lucky with moderate mist and rain that intensified as the Pro categories began. Thank you to all participants for bringing enthusiasm and comradery to Stevens Pass!
