NEW Parking Updates for the 2026/27 Winter Season

Good morning,

I want to share an update about peak day parking at Stevens Pass for the 2026/27 winter season. These changes won’t take effect until next season, but we want to give our community plenty of time to understand what’s ahead and how to plan for our most popular days.

Beginning next winter on most weekends and holiday periods, reservations will be required to park before 10 a.m. across all lots, with a mix of free and paid options. Parking on non-peak days will remain free, with no reservations required.

We designed this new plan to ensure that the majority of parking will continue to remain free, especially for guests who carpool. What’s different from the parking plan we announced last spring is the added flexibility of free reservations, released weekly ahead of weekends and holiday periods, in addition to paid reservations, released ahead of the season for those who prefer to plan further in advance.

While reservations are only required until 10 a.m. on most weekends and holiday periods, parking often remains at capacity into the afternoon. By 2 p.m., parking is almost always available, and skiers and riders can visit for night operations and park for free, no reservation required. Parking on non-peak days will remain free, on a first-come, first-served basis. As always, proceeds from paid reservations will continue to be reinvested into the Stevens Pass parking and arrivals experience.

Over the past few seasons, we’ve tested different approaches and listened closely to guest feedback. This next step is designed to provide clear options, improve the arrival experience on peak days, help more guests spend their time on snow, and reduce park out events. More details can be found on the Getting Here & Parking page of our website, and we’ll continue to share updates as we get closer to next season.

Thanks everyone,
Ellen
