We’re immensely proud of our Stevens Pass community, who come together and rise to the occasion when the going gets tough. This spring has been as challenging as it gets, with resources for education and wellness needed more than ever while we fight the impacts of COVID-19. Our community’s have a wealth of individuals and organizations who are willing to put in the work to help those in need.
Upper Valley MEND
A shining example of the efforts in our community is that of our non-profit partner Upper Valley MEND, a human services organization that provides a vast array of services for those in need east of Stevens Pass. Check out the video below focused on their efforts.
Cascade School District
“We’re going to make a difference for kids, no matter what!” Tracy Beckendorf-Edou, Superintendent of the Cascade School Disctict
Another organization adapting to change is the Cascade School District. They’re proud to be one of the partners helping our school district launch distance learning with funds to increase internet access for remote areas. By providing more Wi-Fi hotspots, it’s now easier for kids east of Stevens Pass to connect with classmates and their studies. We are amazed by our local educators and their ability to adapt and innovate under pressure. Thank you for all you do to help local youth and showing us how we can all help.
