Stevens Pass Open for Skiing and Riding With Access From Both Sides of Highway 2
Thanks to the incredible work of WSDOT and the construction crews who have been working around the clock, West-side access to Stevens Pass will be restored starting tomorrow, Thursday morning.
That means we are officially kicking off our Opening Day 2.0 on Thursday, January 1 with celebrations continuing into the weekend. We are beyond excited to welcome guests from both the East and West sides of the Pass and have our whole community back!
East-side access conditions remain unchanged at this time, with Highway 2 continuing to operate under pilot car operations between 6 AM and 6 PM. Guests traveling from the East should plan accordingly, expect delays, and allow extra travel time.
We are deeply grateful to our staff, community, and local partners for their support and are excited to welcome more of our community back as access continues to improve.
All guests should continue to plan ahead, and check WSDOT’s official channels for the most current information on road conditions and access from both sides of the Pass.
