STEVENS PASS UPDATE (12/12/24)

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share that night operations kick off next Wednesday, December 18th. Starting next week, we’ll be open for nights every Wednesday through Sunday until mid-March. Skiing or riding at night is a unique and fun experience. If you’ve never tried nights, join us after 3 pm to ski or ride into the evening under the lights.

I know many of you are eager for an update on the backside. Our team is closely monitoring conditions, and we need more snow before we can safely open this terrain. Please stay tuned for updates as conditions evolve. Don’t worry – we want to get there as much as you do!

Looking back, our second weekend of operations was eventful. Rain turned to snow on Saturday evening to help settle our base, which was a silver lining following varied daytime conditions. Then came the snow, and 14” overnight turned into our first big powder day of the season on Sunday. It was fun seeing so many of you come up for fresh turns, and it was a busy day that also marked the second day of parking reservations.

More snow is on the way, and we’re ready for another big weekend. As we adjust to the new parking program, here are a few reminders to help you make the most of your visit:

We’re offering free and paid parking options on weekends and peak periods, with a focus on reservations and carpooling incentives. Lots G, A, B, and E are for reserved parking on weekends and peak periods, while Lots C, D, 1, 2, 3, and 4 remain free and first-come, first-serve without a reservation. If you want to secure your parking spot for this weekend, make a reservation at www.parkstevenspass.com. You can find details on the “Getting Here & Parking” tab of our website. We are continuing to learn and adapt as we evolve parking at the Pass and we appreciate your cooperation.

You can also sign up for real-time parking updates by texting “START” to 360-300-1768. With snow in the forecast, we recommend arriving early for the best parking availability. Please check the WSDOT website for the most up-to-date conditions before heading up.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Think snow,

Ellen
