Hi everyone,
We’re excited to get summer operations kicked off this Friday, June 28th at Stevens Pass. Whether you’re here to enjoy our downhill Bike Park, take a scenic chairlift ride, play disc golf, explore hiking trails, or simply passing through on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), we look forward to seeing you this summer. If you’re looking for an extended stay, the RV lot is open for reservations. This summer we also have fun activities and events, including a live music series, with performances every Saturday from 2-4pm through September 9th.
You have heard me say it before, but one of my favorite aspects of summer remains the opportunity to welcome PCT hikers to Stevens Pass. The PCT is an incredible journey, and we are thrilled to be a welcoming point for hikers as they make their way through the breathtaking Cascade Range. We meet incredible people undertaking this monumental trek, and it’s always inspiring to hear their stories. If you are one of the PCT hikers passing through, we have outlets available for you to recharge your devices, clean bathrooms, and food and beverage offerings seven days a week. Packages shipped to Stevens Pass for PCT hikers can be picked up daily in the GPL.
Another highlight from last summer was experiencing the Bike Park myself for the first time. While I grew up on a mountain bike, I had to wait a few years after an injury to get back on a bike, and despite being a little intimidated, I HAD SO MUCH FUN. I’m glad I started with a lesson because having an expert share tips and tricks helped me gain confidence more quickly. If you can ride a bike, the team at Stevens can help you gain the skills for the Bike Park – and I highly recommend giving it a try.
I have to say thank you to the team at Stevens Pass who work year-round to care for this mountain and ensure visitors have a great time at the Pass. The disc golf course is ready, we are on schedule to open with a great variety of bike trails, and work for winter 2024-25 is also underway. We hope you can join us for some fun in the sun before the snow flies this fall. I hope to see you soon!
