Greetings,
It’s been a busy week at Stevens Pass! We are grateful that Mother Nature gave us enough to open the mountain last Tuesday and to expand our offerings from three to five lifts ahead of opening weekend. I have an immense amount of gratitude for our teams’ efforts to ramp up quickly, including the ability to celebrate the opening of Kehr’s Chair and the start of night ops just three days after opening. It was wonderful to greet so many of you back at the Pass!
As we approach the holiday weekend, I want to share a few reminders. First, our hours are the same through the holidays, except for Sunday, Dec. 24. We will be open from 9am-4pm and will not have night ops on this day.
Last weekend was our first run at our new 4+ carpool program, and we appreciate everyone’s willingness to work with us. If you need a refresher on the new program, please visit the “Getting Here & Parking” page of our website. Carpool-only lots will be implemented next Tuesday, Dec. 26 through Monday, Jan 1. I also want to remind guests traveling alone with two kids aged 12 or under that you’re eligible for family parking in the carpool-only lots.
If you are not a Pass Holder, please remember that lift tickets are limited every day this season and we highly recommend you purchase your lift ticket online in advance of your visit. If you are looking to join us on a day that lift tickets are unavailable, we offer unlimited tickets for night ops, which run Wedesday-Sunday from 3pm-10pm (except Sunday, Dec. 24). It’s a lot of fun skiing/riding in the afternoon and into the night under the lights!
As a friendly reminder for Pass Holders, your Pass is non-transferable. If you have questions, please stop by our pass office and our staff will gladly assist you.
It was nice to have a little snowfall at the mountain yesterday and we do have a few inches of snow in the forecast. We are not alone in waiting for Mother Nature to turn up the dial in Washington, and we hope to see you soon!
Happy Holidays,
Ellen
